WELCOME TO TREAT LABORATORY

TREAT (Tissue Regenerative Engineering And mechanoTransduction) Laboratory focuses on developing enabling technologies to repair damaged tissues via stem cell/tissue engineering approaches. Specifically, the lab works on developing multi-functional scaffolds by electrospinning technology to enable precise control over stem cell niche, especially mechanical microenvironments. These scaffolds are utilized to direct stem cell behaviors for functional gain including differentiation towards various cell types as well as engineering tissues composed of multi-phenotypic cells in 3D.
